The most popular starting points are spring of sophomore year and the summer before junior year. We also run a focused Senior Year Intensive for families who come in later. It is almost never too late to get help — but earlier means more strategy room, less crisis.

Yes. About 60% of our families are in Chicagoland; the rest meet with us by video from across the U.S. and from Mexico, Bolivia, Peru, the Dominican Republic and Spain. Every meeting can be held in English or Spanish.

We cap our roster at 25 comprehensive families per graduating class. When we're full, we maintain a short waitlist and refer overflow to colleagues we trust.

Yes. Luis personally leads every meeting and every essay revision. There are no junior staff, no contractors and no salespeople.

Yes. All packages can be split into 4, 6 or 12 monthly payments at no additional cost. We accept ACH bank transfer, all major credit cards and Zelle.

We reserve 3 partial scholarships per cohort for first‑generation Latino students. Applications open every March; please reach out for details.

Generally, no. Education consulting fees are not tax‑deductible at the federal level. Please consult your accountant about your specific situation.

No counselor honestly can. What we can promise is a well‑built list, application materials that genuinely represent the student, and a process that minimizes preventable mistakes. Our families historically place at one of their top three choices about 92% of the time.

Never. We coach, question, edit, and push for revisions. The student writes every word. Anything else would be a disservice to the student and to the school.

Most don't, and that's fine. The vast majority of U.S. colleges admit students into a college or school, not a major, and changing majors is normal. We help students identify themes, not commit to careers at 17.
